Cross-Functional Lead: Safeguarding, SEND & Investigations

St Teresa of Calcutta Academy Trust Central Team are currently seeking a Cross-functional Lead: Safeguarding, SEND & Investigations. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

This role will provide targeted, specialist operational capacity, supporting the Governance team in Safeguarding, SEND cases, and Investigations, that are complex and to manage risk.

The role will also support continuous improvement across both the Performance and Governance functions within the Trust.

We are seeking an individual who:

• A good understanding of complaints procedures and governance frameworks.
• Experience of working within schools, a multi-academy trust, or a local authority
• Experience of managing complex and/or sensitive investigations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risk, patterns and themes.
• Excellent communication skills, including managing sensitive situations with families and stakeholders.
