Salary: £24,796 full time equivalent. Full time equivalent to be pro-rata'd for part time hours/term time only
 
 

The school are keen to appoint an enthusiastic,highly motivated and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our committed,supportive and friendly catering team who are responsible for the preparationof school meals across both sites.

The post involves a mid-day working pattern. The need to work flexibly to the needs ofthe school is essential.

Under the direction of the Catering Manager, we arelooking for someone who will be responsible for supporting the preparation andproduction of a varied lunchtime menu for the children of our school.

The ability to work systematically, identifyissues and use initiative to solve problems is essential.


We are seeking a professional individual who:

  • Is hard working, flexible and proactive and has experience of working in a fast-paced catering environment
  • Is a team player
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Has a good knowledge of basic cooking methods and recipes
  • Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or is willing to work towards it
