As a Pastoral TA L3, you will complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum through a dynamic and impactful role. You will work alongside teaching staff to monitor pupils, identifying those who would benefit from targeted pastoral care to raise achievement and overcome barriers to learning. By developing tailored action plans for both individuals and groups, you will provide effective strategies to engage, motivate, and meet specific needs, alongside supporting individuals or small groups with SEND. Additionally, you will collaborate with the office team to improve attendance among vulnerable families, lead interventions, support classroom learning, and step in to deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences. Initial deployment will be within KS2 but support may be needed elsewhere at discretion of the Senior Team. Fantastic CPD opportunities are available within the school and the Trust.
