Qualified Teacher Pay Scale Full time Required as soon as possible - subject to satisfactory references and checks. Class teacher required to be based at Atherton St George’s CE Primary School. Salary: MPS Contract: Full Time, Temporary until 31st August 2027. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. The Purpose of the role: As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive and challenging learning experiences that enable all pupils to achieve and make excellent progress. You will create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired to learn. The Successful Candidate Will: Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum. Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Establish high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attendance. Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively and use assessment information to inform future teaching. Work closely with the SENDCo and other professionals to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Adapt teaching approaches and resources to ensure pupils with additional needs can access learning and achieve success. Build positive and productive relationships with pupils, parents and carers. Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, events and enrichment opportunities. Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies. Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills. Is committed to inclusion, equality and raising standards. Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.
