Whitehill Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
This exciting role combines classroom support with the opportunity to lead learning in classes across the school when teachers are absent. Working as part of our wider inclusion and teaching support team, you will help ensure all pupils receive high-quality learning experiences and pastoral support throughout their time at Whitehill.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, confident and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be willing to work across the whole school, from Nursery to Year 6, supporting learning, promoting inclusion and maintaining the positive culture that underpins everything we do.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Provide high-quality classroom support alongside teachers across the school.
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers and deliver pre-planned learning activities.
Work flexibly across the whole school, from Nursery through to Year 6.
Support pupils with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
Help create an inclusive environment where all pupils can achieve success.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
