Job Title: Before & Afterschool Club Playworker
Salary: NJC Scale 2 point 4 £9,520
Hours: 15.83 Hours per week
Working Pattern: Term time only Monday to Friday 2.50pm -6.00pm
Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate before & afterschool playworker who is willing to work within our school using our ethos, values, policies, framework and procedures. We are looking for someone who is pro-active, hardworking and passionate about working with children, we would love you to hear from you.
Main Duties
To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, parents and carers
Supervising the children
Engaging with the children in aspects of play and conversation
Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in
To provide the highest standards of childcare and excellent levels of customer service at all times
To understand fully and adhere to St George’s policies and procedures at all times
To plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and evaluate as required
To have an understanding that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and that you have a duty to act accordingly & report any concerns
