Business Intelligence Officer

Contract- Permanent 

Hours- 37 Per week 

Salary- NJC Grade H1 £39,481- £42,123 per annum

Blackpool Council is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Officer to join our Business Intelligence Team.

You'll provide data, analysis and reporting support to Children's Services, helping senior leaders and operational teams understand performance, identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions which improve outcomes for children and families across Blackpool.  You'll also play a key role in producing statutory returns and national data collections.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience of working with large datasets, and the ability to communicate insight clearly through reports, dashboards and visualisations.  Experience of SQL, Power BI or similar analytical tools is essential.  Knowledge of local government or Children's Services would be beneficial.

The post offers hybrid working, with time split between home and the office.  Requests for part time working patterns or job share will be considered.
