Your Role We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to the post of Intervention Coordinator - HLTA. The successful candidate will be expected to attend and minute our Inclusion panel meetings, coordinate agreed actions and allocate students to appropriate interventions, ensuring that baseline information, intervention goals and suitability of support are established. They will also monitor the progress of interventions and ensure that appropriate review and exit processes are completed, working closely with colleagues delivering interventions across our In-house Team and external support. The Intervention Coordinator/HLTA will also be expected to deliver targeted, personalised and goals-based early intervention to students who require focused support, working individually or in small groups to develop emotional wellbeing, regulation, resilience and positive approaches to learning. About You The successful candidate will be a dedicated and committed professional who, under the line management of the Senior Mental Health Lead will be responsible for supporting the effective coordination and delivery of targeted early intervention for students across our Student Hub. The Intervention Coordinator/HLTA will play an important role in supporting the identification of students’ presenting needs, coordinating appropriate interventions and ensuring that students receive timely and purposeful support to help them feel safe, understood, emotionally regulated, ready to learn and thrive.
In addition to the principal focus of coordinating and quality assuring the school’s targeted intervention pathway, the Intervention Coordinator/HLTA will contribute to the wider work of the team, working collaboratively with Pastoral, SEND, Safeguarding, Attendance and Curriculum colleagues to ensure that students receive appropriate and effective support.Supporting Documents
