Advert for Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Part-time)

Bury and Whitefield Jewish Primary School is a very friendly and happy school. Our recent Ofsted inspection highlights Inclusions, Behaviour and Attendance and EYFS as areas of particular strength.


We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) with experience of working with children with complex SEMH needs. Previous experience working in resource or alternative provision, along with de-escalation training such as ‘Team Teach’, would be an advantage.

The hours of work are 8.45am 3.45pm Monday to Thursday with a 30-minute lunch break. 26 hours per week, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements.

The actual salary for this post will be £16,281 (pro-rated) per annum for a level 2 TA.

The job will be temporary, subject to a review of school staffing structure and needs of the children within our school.
