Teaching Assistant (Learning Support)

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is passionate about inclusion and can champion inclusive practices. This role would be perfect for somebody who puts relationships at the heart of all they do and is able to develop strong relationships, rooted in positivity and mutual respect, with children, staff and parents.

This person will work closely with our SENDCO and become part of the staff team in our Resource Provision classroom as well as leading interventions and 1:1/small group support with pupils from our mainstream classes as well.

We are looking for someone who:

• can work as part of our Inclusion Team and provide essential support and intervention for a range of children
• can work with class teachers to support teaching and learning
• can work with a range of pupils and ensure personalised targets are met in line with guidance from professionals and EHCP documents.
• can work in mainstream classes across a key stage to support individual pupils with additional needs
• can support pupils outside of the classroom to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions

• can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
• has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils and parents.
