Post Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1 - 1:1 Support

Responsible to: Headteacher

Location: St Vincent De Paul RC Primary School

Salary: Grade 2 scp 4 Actual Salary £18,969 (£26,016 FTE)

Term of Contract: Fixed term initially 3 months with possibility to extend subject to the return of the postholder.

Working pattern: Term Time Only + 4 days

Hours per week: 31.25 hours 6.25 hours per day, including lunchtime supervision.

Start date: ASAP

St Vincent De Paul RC Primary School are currently seeking a Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 1 to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs for an initial 3-month period subject to the return of the current post holder. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic teaching assistant who can work as part of our dedicated team of support staff supporting a child with complex communication and sensory needs. The successful candidate should have experience with children with complex special educational needs. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of special educational needs and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education.
