Redwood is a large special school for learners with a wide range of complex SEND from 11-19. This is an exciting time for Redwood; demand for places is high and we are expanding further. The purpose and objectives of the post are:

• To work with teachers or leads, by providing specialist support to individual students, small groups and/or leading learning activities within an area of specialism.
• To deliver whole class teaching cover, for example during teacher’s PPA time or due to staff absence where relevant to the role deployment
• To deliver 121 and small group intervention both in and out of the classroom.
• To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Review and assess learner progress
