Moston Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Class Teacher to join our supportive and welcoming team.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences and committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

About the Candidate:

This a wide ranging and demanding post and the successful will be someone special who has:

  • Proven experience as a general class teacher across the primary phase
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective classroom practice
  • Experience working with children with SEND, including adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management skills
  • The ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Shortlisting will take place on the 15th & 16th October 2026.  Successful candidates will be invited to interview on the 22nd or 23rd October. 

As part of the Interview process there will be a written task, formal interview and you will be asked to plan and deliver a 30 minute lesson to a class that will be observed by the panel.  Further information will be provided if successful.
