Post: Pastoral Care officer

Contract: Fixed term until July 25 starting September 2024

Term Time contract + 5 Inset Days

Hours: 37 hours per week (8.00am – 4.30pm with a need to be flexible to accommodate meetings)

Part time option available is available Monday to Friday 8.00-2.00pm


Pay Scale:  - Grade F  £24,635.79 -  £27,466.72


The Governing Body of Horwich Parish C.E Primary School is seeking to appoint a Pastoral care officer to join our school team to support caring for our children.

This is a new and exciting post for an experienced and innovative pastoral care officer to work across our two-form entry school.

You will be:


· Patient and caring, with a calm and confident approach with children   
· A motivated practitioner with high standards and expectations of      yourself and others
· A good communicator with adults, parents and children with the ability to develop strong relationships

· Passionate about improving and nurturing the personal development and well-being of all pupils
· Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative

· Willing to become part of our Designated Safeguarding Team

This post is for a fixed term until July 2025 and is subject to a six months probationary period in line with Local Authority Guidelines
