Casual Car Documentation- The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use. 

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for a an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here. We have a policy on the Employment of Ex-Offenders and it is available upon request.  

Evidence of conduct in previous employment concerned with the provision of services relating to Health or social care or Children or vulnerable adults.

 Applicants must have a Social Work qualification and be an experienced Social Worker in line with the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework, including being a Practice Educator, Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional.
 

We are looking for a enthusiastic and passionate social work team manager to take the lead responsibility for the operational management of the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service (IDVA) and the coordination of the adult social care response and representation within Multi agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC); across the city of Manchester.

This posts encompasses responsibilities across several areas of Adult Safeguarding, which stretches across the delivery of statutory social work duties, MAPPA and MARAC as an example.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate social work team manager who has strong leadership skills, who can drive and support the delivery of a large domestic violence service and adult safeguarding provision. The successful candidate must have experience of leading and engaging with complex safeguarding enquiries, specifically which concern high risk victim/survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
 
Additionally, the role holder must be an experienced Social Worker in line with the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework, including being a Practice Educator, Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional.
