Project Manager – Population Health (Eliminating new cases of HIV in Greater Manchester)

NHS Band 7 (£31,696 - £41,787)

6 month secondment or 6 month Fixed Term Contract

The devolution of Health and Social Care to Greater Manchester has provided an unprecedented opportunity to for us to significantly improve health outcomes for local people.

The GM Population Health plan has provided the platform upon which we can pursue “a radical upgrade in the health of the population” by prioritising prevention, early intervention and person / community centred approaches.

As part of this we are embarking on an ambitious and ground-breaking journey to develop and implement a transformational proposal to eliminating new cases of HIV in Greater Manchester within a generation.

To drive forward the implementation of these plans, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and knowledgeable project manager who has both subject matter expertise andproject management capabilities.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the GM Health and Social Care Partnership Population Health Team and will also work closely with colleagues from across the GM system, particularly commissioners and providers of Sexual and Reproductive Health services and the wider GM Sexual Health Network. This role is available as a 6 month fixed term contract or as a 6 month secondment.
