The Governing Board of Brownhill Learning Community is seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor (Behaviour)

The Brownhill Learning Community is a federation of Brownhill Special School and the Pupil Referral Service who work together to provide education provision for school aged learners with social, emotional and mental health needs who are out of the mainstream environment.

There are four sites currently across Rochdale and learners are placed according to their needs.

Our aim is to identify and meet individual learning needs through a nurturing environment. We are looking for candidates that are dynamic, inspirational and can motivate children with significant emotional, social and behaviour challenges.

A Learning Mentor at BLC will need to support and manage the behaviour of BLC Learners

We welcome applications from experienced staff with a commitment to changing the life chances of our pupils.

Experience of working with learners of all ages from primary to secondary will be an advantage.

Experience of Team Teach and SEMH/PRU settings is preferred.

The post holders may be required to transport Learners using their own vehicle and will be required to work across all of the Brownhill Learning Community sites as required.

The successful candidates will be required to commence in post in as soon as possible.
