The Governing Board of Brownhill Learning Community is seeking to appoint a teacher to deliver lessons for pupils through primary to secondary ages.

Brownhill Learning Community comprises of Brownhill School and Rochdale Pupil Referral Service. We provide educational provision for pupils who are out of mainstream schools for a variety of reasons that include exclusion, emotional and behavioural difficulties, medical reasons, pregnancy and young mothers.

We operate across four sites around the Rochdale borough. Heights Lane, located near to the centre of Rochdale. Our Darnhill site which is located in Heywood, Our Saxon Hall site which located in Belfield, Rochdale and our St Albans site located in the centre of Rochdale.

Experience of working with pupils of all ages from primary to secondary will be an advantage. Experience of Team Teach and SEMH/PRU preferred.

The post holders may be required to transport pupils using their own vehicle and will be required to work across all of the Brownhill Learning Community sites as required.

The successful candidates will be required to commence in post in September 2024 or as soon as possible.
