Assistant Cook
Location: Grosvenor Road Primary School, Parkgate Drive, Swinton, M27 5LN
Working Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9am-2pm)
Grade: 1C, £14,104 - £14,340 per annum, £12.73- £12.94 per hour.
Contract Type: Fixed Term until July 2025, Term Time Only

About the role

As an Assistant Cook you will work with a tight knit team to ensure that the food served is of a high standard. You would be responsible for ensuring that a quality catering service is maintained whilst covering for the absence of the Cook Supervisor. Supervisory experience within a commercial environment is essential together with a high standard of food presentation and excellent customer care skills.
Possession of NVQ 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering qualification and a current Basic Hygiene certificate is desirable.
