Job Title – Childcare Workers (Level 3) at Sanyu Daycare

Employer – Trafford Council

Location – Sanyu Day Care 504 Stretford Road, Old Trafford M16 9AD

Salary range – Band 2 (£23,114 - £23,500) 

Working Pattern – Full Time

Working hours – 36.25 hours per week, (Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm)

Contract type – Permanent

About the Role

We currently have an exciting vacancy for the role of Childcare Worker at Sanyu Day Care to support the ongoing success of the nursery. As a Childcare Worker you will help to ensure the quality of early education and care for children and families accessing the nursery by providing high quality learning opportunities combined with care. The role involves working with children and their families from an increasingly diverse community to ensure all needs are met in a warm and welcoming environment. You will be part of an experienced and professional team, working with other professionals from outside the nursery and keeping records up to date. You will be a key person for a group of children to enable them to reach their potential through positive relationships and experiences.

About you

You will have experience of working in an early years setting. You must hold a minimum level 3 relevant early years qualification in childcare. You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put the principles into practice across the early years. You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice that is applied in your work with children and families. You will be able to form positive relationships with children and families. You will be committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that the needs of children and families are met in an ever-evolving high quality setting. You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others. You will be a good communicator and passionate about working with children.
