Salary: Grade E and SCP11 £25,979 to SCP16 £28,282
 
Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Base Location: Tame Street Depot, Tame Street, Stalybridge SK15 1ST

The Role
 
We have an excellent opportunity for a highway operative. You must be an experienced tradesperson and ideally hold an NVQ level 2 (or similar).  The post is a full time contract where you will be carrying out the construction / maintenance of footways and carriageways.
 
About You 
 
You must have physical ability to lift heavy materials and have experience in working on highway schemes together with operating highway plant and machinery. Full understanding of relevant health and safety requirements is essential.  
 
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and well organised persons to join our hard working and committed team.
 
You should possess a driving licence along with good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team environment.
