EPIC Check In
We understand the importance of continuous leadership and management development. In your role you will benefit from ongoing coaching and development. At least every 3-6 months you will work with your manager through your EPIC Check in to catch up on your long term goals and aspirations. This will be underpinned by a development plan to ensure we are supporting you every step of the way.
To help you further succeed you will have the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification through our Upskill Programme. Dependent on your development needs you can undertake a fully funded qualification in areas such as coaching, project management and leadership. Hear about Nichola's Coaching Apprenticeship journey.
LEAP into Leadership Programme
If you are a new or aspiring manager you’ll be supported to take the leap into leadership.
Through this programme you will have access to a mix of engaging content and intensive support to help you in your new role and/or take a leap forward towards the next step in your career. What's more you will receive a nationally recognised ILM qualification and have the opportunity to network with other colleagues and learn from subject experts from across the organisation.
EPIC Manager Programme
As a new manager and leader joining us and to help you get off to a great start you will be encouraged to attend our EPIC Manager programme.
Our Programme covers a range of topics from Leading Change, Values Based Recruitment, Inclusive Leadership and Health and Wellbeing.

EPIC Manager Micro-learns
To complement our EPIC manager programme we also offer a range of Micro-Learn sessions. Micro by name but mighty in content these bite-sized sessions last no longer than an hour….
These interactive bite-sized sessions look at specific elements and theory of the EPIC manager programme. Internal and external subject matter experts from across the organisation provide updates and create a forum for discussion on best practice, covering topics such as Digital Wellbeing, Active Working and Menopause for Managers.
