Your role: The role is to assist and support the Statutory Compliance & Building Safety Team Manager (Asbestos & Lifts) in ensuring that compliance related statutory requirements governing the housing and corporate stock through inspections and management. The role will undertake statutory and compliance surveys /safety inspections / audits to predetermined programmes (e.g. Asbestos and associated service contracts). Along with providing advice, guidance and management of compliance related work and documentation, including the company’s statutory certification, ensuring that asset lists are routinely validated and compliance records kept up to date during a buildings lifecycle. About you: You will need to have the appropriate certification of professional qualification relevant for the role or equivalent experience, HNC or ONC or equivalent in compliance or building safety or engineering or related subjects. Experience of working within a compliance team covering Asbestos and Lifts, along with contract management experience. P402 Surveying & Sampling Strategies for Asbestos In Buildings Qualification (desirable). Experience of compliance inspections / or supervision of projects in the public or private sector. The role will be responsible for making things better, enabling change and supporting improvement within the electrical function for housing and corporate buildings. A trained hiring manager reads every application
Shortlisting is based on objective criteria required for the job
Interviews are conducted in person or via teams by the hiring manager for the role
All hiring decisions are made by hiring managers, not algorithms
AI does not make decisions in our recruitment process and our managers are being upskilled to spot AI in applications, particularly when this might have been used in a way that doesn’t feel genuine.
