Post: Food Technician Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment Working Type: Part Time, 18.5 hours, 39 working weeks, 45.942 paid weeks Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. The 2025 performance tables data indicates that Denton was outperformed only by two selective schools in Tameside in terms of the percentage of students who pass English and Maths at a Grade 5 or higher placing it third overall on key attainment measures and the highest-performing non-selective school in the borough. Perhaps most significantly, Denton is on track to be named Tameside’s most improved school for the second year running reflecting the hard work of staff and students, and the transformative impact of support from NET, a nationally recognised multi-academy trust with a strong record of driving rapid improvement in schools. A trained hiring manager reads every application
Shortlisting is based on objective criteria required for the job
Interviews are conducted in person or via teams by the hiring manager for the role
All hiring decisions are made by hiring managers, not algorithms
AI does not make decisions in our recruitment process and our managers are being upskilled to spot AI in applications, particularly when this might have been used in a way that doesn’t feel genuine.
