Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Until 31/03/2027 Contract Reason: Subject to funding Secondment Opportunity: Permanent employees are encouraged to apply and will be supported as part of our workforce development commitment Salary: Grade E SCP 11 £28,142 - SCP 16 £30,518 Hours Per Week: 36 hours Base Location: Tameside One Assessment Date: To be arranged The Role An exciting opportunity is available working for the Routes to Work (Supported Employment service) within the Economy, Employment and Skills Service of Tameside Council, working as part of the front line operational teams who directly support local residents. About You This role will support residents with disabilities and EHCPs (Education Health and Care Plans) to complete agreed actions to help them progress towards their employment aims, under the direction from the Employment Officer. We need someone who is flexible, willing to support colleagues and residents, has the ability to maintain high standards of work with minimal supervision and are committed to achieving inclusivity in the workplace.
