    EPIC Check-In

    EPIC Check-Ins are not just manager one-to-ones, they're dynamic, people-centred conversations that spark inspiration and growth! These regular conversations with your manager will empower you to contribute to our vision, whilst ensuring you have the support you need to thrive.

    Our Check-in conversations focus on three key areas: wellbeing, performance, and development.  Plus, all our colleagues can access a wide range of informal and formal learning and development opportunities, making sure that you are able to maximise your impact and potential whilst working with us.

Join our regular engaging training sessions like Presentation Skills to shine at your next big meeting or Interview Skills to ace your next career move.

    Plus, we bring in expert trainers to keep our technical and specialist teams at the cutting edge of their fields.

    EPIC Manager Programme

    Our EPIC Manager Programme is designed for managers and leaders across the organisation, supporting you to be your best self and foster an environment where your team can excel and drive excellent outcomes for the people of Trafford. You will experience a supportive, collaborative space where you can learn and grow with your peers through regular coaching circles and scheduled workshops covering topics such as managing by outcomes, inclusive leadership and leading change.

    Participation in the programme will support you to develop the skills, knowledge and EPIC behaviours to successfully lead and manage our people.  But don’t just take our word for it, here's what some of our recent attendees had to say…..

    GROW at Trafford

    GROW at Trafford is our dedicated coaching offer designed to enhances skills, boosts performance, and accelerate career development. No matter your goal, you can partner with one of our qualified internal coaches for person-centred sessions that provide the direction and motivation you need to succeed.

    Upskill Programme

    Upskill at Trafford is our internal apprenticeship scheme available to colleagues at any stage of their career on completion of their probation period. Since 2017 we have supported over 400 employees to undertake an apprenticeship ranging from Customer Service Level 2, Associate Project Manager Level 4, all the way to the Senior Leader Level 7.

    LEAP into Leadership Programme

    Our LEAP into Leadership and Management Programmes are an EPIC opportunity for anyone stepping into or aspiring to step into a leadership role here at Trafford. Both programmes are designed to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to help you navigate the challenges of leadership. You’ll have access to a mix of engaging content providing you with a host of theoretical knowledge and practical insights that will support you to excel in your role.

    What's more, you will receive a nationally recognised ILM qualification and be able to network with other colleagues, whilst learning from subject experts from across the organisation.
