If you’re successful, you’ll join a team of dedicated professionals driving high standards of service delivery across the Revenues and Benefits Unit. As a Technical Officer, you’ll provide expert support to the Team Manager and wider team, helping to manage complex caseloads, interpret legislation, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring the quality of outputs, coaching colleagues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service. You’ll also work collaboratively across the Council, offering specialist advice and insight that supports wider organisational goals. This role is key to maintaining operational resilience, improving customer outcomes, and ensuring Manchester City Council continues to deliver services that are fair, efficient, and accessible to all.
