Salary for this role is between £64,104 - £72,095 pro rata depending on your experience and qualifications.

0.7 FTE Permanent (Part-time applications will also be considered)
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Educational and Community Psychology Service. You will assist Bury Council Educational and Community Psychology Service in the delivery of psychological services and support to education and community settings.

This work will involve assisting in the development and delivery of a range of services and interventions including:
Service development and embedding of a Communities of Practice model

Training and development work, involving wellbeing programmes and mental health support teams
Innovative project work
Group work with children and young people

Management and supervision of other staff members within the service
1:1 mentoring/therapeutic work with children and young people
Evaluation of service delivery
Administration
Direct individual work with CYP, including statutory assessment work

The service is partnered with the Salford and Tameside Psychology Service and there will be development opportunities across all services and support from other Educational Psychologists.

Requirements of the post:
- To be a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
- Relevant experience of working with children in educational / clinical or community settings to promote children’s well-being and progress;
- Evidence of using psychological understanding and approaches to support practice;
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week (0.7FTE) based around the usual business working week. Part-time, compressed and flexible working options will be considered.
