Your Role As a Programme Assurance Officer in our Audit, Risk and Assurance Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects across Greater Manchester. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to provide high-quality assurance services to our Executive Team, engaging with Project and Programme Managers, technical experts, and senior stakeholders. We provide independent assurance to TfGM’s Executive and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, helping to ensure the organisation has strong foundations to successfully deliver a large, complex, and technically diverse portfolio of capital and revenue projects. We undertake assurance activities across our extensive portfolio of projects and programmes covering a significant number of areas within the different modes of transport infrastructure throughout Greater Manchester including Bus infrastructure, Metrolink, Rail, Electrification, Interchanges, Zero Emissions, Clean Air, Active Travel and Business Change just to name a few!
