Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner

Salary: £47,181 - £50,269

Are you passionate about wanting to make a real difference to making sure people are healthy, safe and well in work? We are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner to join our growing team. This is far more than a traditional health and safety role, we need people who are passionate about wanting to make a real difference across our services, making sure health, safety and wellbeing is a priority for everyone!

About the role

• You will provide best practice advice and guidance on health, safety and wellbeing matters to stakeholdersacross different serviceswithin the Council
• You will review and audit arrangements for healthandsafety management and continuously improve these arrangements where appropriate
• You will work with services to conduct and reviewing risk assessmentsand audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
• You will work collaboratively withmanagers at all levelstosupporthealth,safetyand wellbeingexcellence and drive behavioural change

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has significant experiencein a similar health,safetyand wellbeing role, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
• Holds a relevant health and safety qualification e.g Nebosh General Certificate(essential)NEBOSHDiploma(preferred)or equivalent, with chartered membership with a professional body such as IOSH or CIEHbeing preferred
• Has experience of implementing health and safety systems, with strong investigation skills
• Has excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong influential relationships and motivate others to adopt safer working practices.
• Has strong data analysisskills,identifyingand reporting on themes and trends to senior leaders’ teams with innovative recommendations for action / improvement.
