Adult Social Care Mental Health Mental Health Duty Social Worker Ref: 001318 Contract: Permanent Salary: £39,152 - £42,839 per annum (Grade 7) Hours: 36.66 per week Hiring Manager: Bronwen Maxwell (bronwen.maxwell@oldham.gov.uk) Based: Oldham Council Adult Mental Health Team, Block 4, Southlink Business Park, Hamilton Street, Oldham, OL4 1DE Closing Date: Sunday 15th March 2026 Interview Date: TBC. Role Overview: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated social worker who is passionate about providing short term intervention to people who are referred to the Adult Mental Health Social Work Team. You will be part of a team that includes a Social Care Lead, Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, Community Support Workers, and Administrators all working collaboratively to make a real difference in people’s lives. You will be working alongside the NHS mental health teams and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sectors.
