Do you have the experience, resilience and empathy needed to support Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) and refugee families as they settle into life in Bury? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a committed and skilled Community Learning Officer to lead our work with Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers and Refugees across the borough. This is a vital position within our Education Safeguarding Team, focusing on ensuring that every child is identified promptly, safeguarded effectively, and supported to receive an education that enables them to thrive. After being vacant for 12 months, this role needs someone with the passion, drive and expertise to revitalise the service and provide strong, proactive leadership. Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
