We have an exciting opportunity within our team to lead a new project supporting the development of skills across the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials sector in Trafford. Working with local manufacturing businesses and stakeholders you will lead the co-design and delivery of a range of initiatives to support the growth of expertise in the sector, promote opportunities to new entrants and inspire the next generation of manufacturing employees. This is an exciting opportunity with scope to make a significant contribution to the economic development of the borough and improve the lives of residents. You will be a proven project manager with experience of delivering outcomes from multi faceted projects against defined timescales . You will be a highly effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, key stakeholders and the manufacturing community to drive delivery and influence change. You will be customer focused with the ability to identify and respond to customer requirements. A strategic thinker with an appreciation of the commercial environment, you will be able to analyse multiple information sources to identify, plan and deliver the activity required to support long term growth across the manufacturing sector in Trafford.
