The Role

As our Virtual School Data and Compliance Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every child we support has the best chance to thrive educationally.

In this key position, you will take the lead on gathering, analysing, and maintaining highquality education datacovering attendance, attainment, suspensions, and wider outcomes. Your work will underpin the Virtual School’s ability to understand performance, target support effectively, and meet important statutory duties.

You’ll develop clear, insightful reports, manage data flow between schools and social care partners, and support colleagues to use our data systems confidently. Alongside this, you’ll ensure we remain compliant with GDPR, FOI, and Subject Access Requests, helping to safeguard information and uphold high standards of practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent attention to detail, and wants their work to have real impact on the lives of children in care and other vulnerable young people.
