The Role:

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an allocated area, (approximately 24 primary school kitchens) working with the Unit Manager to ensure the kitchens operate and comply within set standards, polices, codes of practice and procedures.

You will also support recipe and menu development, on the job training and marketing of the service.


About You:

You will be an experienced catering manager who is able demonstrate a proven track record of managing teams. You will need to be focused on continually improving standards and providing high levels of customer service to our stakeholders.


You will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will have a school catering background with an understanding of the principles of menu planning and budgets, be confident in the use of IT and have experience of Microsoft office.
