The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Family Help Teams within our newly established Family Help Service.

As a Family Help worker, you will work with children and families across Bolton. You will manage a caseload of children and young people and will lead and complete holistic early help assessments of family’s needs and strengths. You will work with families and partner agencies to develop clear and effective plans to support families to make and sustain positive changes.

Working as part of a team and working in partnership with partner agencies, you will deliver one to one support to children, young people and families working in a variety of settings in the community and within the family home. You will provide effective interventions and support to families and deliver evidence based structured programmes of intervention.

About You
You will be a confident individual with a passion for working with children, young people and families.

You will have experience of working with children and families, completing assessments and contributing to plans.

You will have a good understanding of Early Help and Safeguarding procedures.

You will be able to develop effective working relationships with parents/carers, children and young people, colleagues and partner agencies.

You will be a team player, who is able to use their own initiative and someone who embraces creative approaches to working with children and families. You will approach change with a ‘can do’ attitude to overcome challenges and take a strengths-based approach to the role.
