Your role: You will provide a key role in supporting the team to deliver outstanding support to children and young people accessing short breaks. Central to the role is the ability to develop a trusting relationship with children, young people and their support network. You will work on a rota basis to support the children and young people who access overnight stays at Ladies Lane. Part of this dynamic role will be providing personal care and physical and emotional support to our young people with complex needs, including physical disabilities, severe learning disabilities and autism. You will support the team to operate a fun, safe and positive overnight provision for the children and young people. We are a dynamic, well establish team who provide short breaks to children and young people between 4 to 18 years, who have complex needs and learning difficulties. We work in a 4 bedded purpose-built registered children’s home. We offer overnight stays which enables our children and young people to have time away from their families, make friendships with their peers and enjoy new experiences.
