The Revenue Performance & Partnership Manager plays a key role in managing and growing Transport for Greater Manchester’s commercial revenue across buses, trams and shelters. The postholder will oversee advertising, commercial contracts and partnerships, ensuring strong performance, compliance and value, while working collaboratively across TfGM to support an integrated out-of-home advertising strategy.

At senior level, the role provides strategic leadership, influencing stakeholders and driving innovation aligned to TfGM’s wider objectives!

Your Role

We are looking for a Revenue Performance & Partnership Manager to play a key role in managing and growing TfGM’s commercial revenue streams across buses, trams and shelters.

This is a career-grade role (Band 910), offering progression for candidates who demonstrate the capability and readiness to operate at a more strategic, senior level.

At Band 9, you will focus on managing and optimising advertising contracts and partnerships, ensuring strong delivery, compliance and performance reporting.

At Band 10, you will provide strategic leadership across TfGM’s commercial revenue portfolio, influencing senior stakeholders, shaping commercial strategy and leading innovation aligned to organisational objectives.

Depending on your level, responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimising TfGM’s advertising and commercial revenue streams across transport modes
  • Leading contract performance, ensuring assets are available, compliant and delivering value
  • Working closely with advertising agencies, franchise partners and internal teams to deliver integrated out-of-home strategies
  • Producing high-quality performance reports, forecasts and insights, including KPIs, SLAs and variance analysis
  • Identifying growth opportunities and supporting or sponsoring business cases for new revenue streams
  • Ensuring compliance with the CAP Code, TfGM policies and relevant legislation
  • At senior level, presenting recommendations and insights at board or committee level and influencing strategic decision-making
  • Line managing and developing staff, setting objectives and supporting continuous improvement
  • Exploring innovation, including digital formats and new technologies, and supporting pilots where appropriate

This is a permanent, career graded role, with a salary of £61,408 - £84,830
