The Governors of St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our school.

The person appointed will have experience of supporting children in their learning and will have high standards and expectations in all areas of school life.

We are looking for a person who:

  • has recent experience of working with children in an early years setting
  • can demonstrate excellent knowledge of the early years curriculum
  • has a passion for working with young children and be kind, caring and flexible
  • is a practicing Catholic/Christian or has a commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school
  • is an outstanding practitioner with very high expectations of what can be achieved
  • is able to work as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team
  • is able to form successful relationships with parents
  • has enthusiasm and commitment
  • has a proven track record of good attendance

The successful applicant must hold at least a NVQ Level 2 and/or Maths & English Grade 4 9 (C or above) and be willing to undertake training.
