We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. The purpose of the role is to provide an effective administration service for the HOST Team. We are looking for someone who is able to deal with customers and partner agency enquiries on a day-to-day basis and provide support to the Housing Options and Temporary Accommodation Teams. in different areas of the service. We want someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar administration role and who has experience in delivering high quality customer service with an understanding of the different needs of our customers. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working on their own, and within a team, who thrives on meeting deadlines and working under pressure. You will be comfortable working to a schedule and ensure that your work is completed to an excellent standard. Knowledge of administration practices and processes, data protection principles and legislation and safeguarding and safeguarding responsibilities are desirable. Experience in utilising IT software packages such as Microsoft Office outlook, word and excel is essential. With the use of housing management databases to extract data and run reports desirable. You must possess the skills and ability to use spreadsheets to calculate figures accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision and demonstrate good organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet the needs of the team, using Outlook, excel spreadsheets and physical inboxes to manage work effectively and efficiently. We are looking for someone with the ability to work independently under pressure and to plan and prioritise own workload to meet own and team deadlines and changes in priority, with the ability to draft standard and non-standard documentation using corporate templates, reports and spreadsheets, accurately, efficiently and with minimal supervision. You must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative, including the ability to respond independently to unexpected problems and situations.
