EYFS Class Teacher (Nursery)

Are you a passionate and nurturing early years educator looking for a part-time role? We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join our friendly and supportive team.

St George's Primary School is a warm, friendly and inclusive school which is at the heart of our local, diverse community. Everything we do ensures that our children believe in themselves and can achieve their very best. We are looking to appoint a 0.6 teacher to work with our other brilliant Nursery teacher.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education, supporting children’s development through engaging, creative, and play-based learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a stimulating Early Years curriculum in line with EYFS
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, staff and governors
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Early Years qualification
• Experience working within an EYFS setting
• A strong understanding of child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A warm, caring, and patient approach
