Salary: 30,024 - £38,220 per annum, based on experience

Your role:

We are looking for a committed and experienced professional who has the flexibility and willingness to work across the breadth of activity involved in supporting our people. As a Management Information Coordinator Analyst your role will involve data interpretation and manipulation, spotting trends in data, managing stakeholders and supporting and educating the business on the data findings. You will be working closely with the Management Information Analyst and senior stakeholders and will be expected to offer advice based on the content of the data. You will have strong data analysis, Excel and Power BI skills and ideally, you will have come from a People Services background with experience in Business Objects 4.2. Responsible for the scheduled production of information, routine and ad-hoc as required, whilst developing the content. You must also be confident working with and presenting to senior stakeholders. You will also be responding to queries via our dedicated enquiry line, ensuring our employee records are accurate and secure every day brings something different.

About you:

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in the role you will need experience of working in a data analysis environment and of modelling and analytical working in an HR environment, you will need to be an analytical individual who has excellent Excel skills who can communicate analytical findings in a simple way. You will have previous experience working within a busy People Services team within a larger organisation. You will be highly numerate and have a keen eye for detail and build effective working relationships at all levels and across departments. You will also have experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, visualise data and support insight-led decision making.

Our hybrid working policy sets out a flexible approach, combining attendance at our Manchester city centre office, allocated GM Local Authority office(s), or on site in the community, with remote working, typically from home (within a reasonable commutable distance from Greater Manchester); the location of work is primarily dictated by the needs of the business: ‘Do what is right for you and the business on that day’. If appointed to the role you will work with your manager to agree and regularly review the best working pattern for you, your team and your work.
