Your Role This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the most iconic transport networks outside of London, managing the daily operational performance delivered to customers for Metrolink within Greater Manchester. We are seeking an individual who can work across Engineering, Operations, and Service Delivery to ensure that asset information is accurate, performance is effectively managed, and customer outcomes are continuously improved. In this role you will be involved with the management of asset information and data, maintaining accurate, auditable asset records across infrastructure, systems, stations and depots. You will be monitoring and managing service provider performance against contractual obligations, drive initiatives to improve the passenger experience and act as a key interface between Engineering, Operations, Projects, Finance and external partners For more info see Job Profile below. As part of the Metrolink Operations team, you’ll help ensure the network runs safely and reliably, supporting the management of vital assets and service delivery across the system. You will be required to have experience of operational performance, working with infrastructure and assets working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, contract management experience, producing reports for board level on the performance of the Metrolink business across all categories, interpreting highly complex datasets condensing these into reports on business performance for presentation to a wide range of audiences, from political and external stakeholders to the Executive Board, contractors and the public, have the ability to work under own initiative to deliver a wide portfolio of objectives and extensive experience of building and maintaining productive joint working relationships. What we can offer you This is a part time role, working 22.2 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract, with a full time equivalent salary of £31,762£36,093 per annum.
