Working Hours: 35 Hours Per Week The Ten-Year Leasing Team is based within the wider Rents and Property Management service. The team focuses on expanding our temporary accommodation stock within Manchester City Council boundaries. In turn reducing out of city placements, reducing costly emergency accommodation placements, and rebalancing the relatively concentrated geography of Temporary Accommodation to more city-wide distribution. The Ten-Year Leasing team at full capacity will consist of 2 leasing officers, and 2 leasing inspections officers, supporting the Homeless Lead Officer. Leasing Officers will be primarily office-based, playing a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of the Ten-Year Leasing Team. They will be responsible for managing a wide range of enquiries and undertaking detailed administrative tasks to support the acquisition and management of our temporary accommodation stock. Through handling complex paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and responding to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner, they will ensure high-quality service delivery to expand and effectively manage accommodation for residents experiencing homelessness. The role is designated casual car user, having access to a car and a full UK Driving License would be useful but is not required. You may be expected to visit our properties as part of this role, if you do not have a car you will have to utilise public transport. Primary responsibilities of the role: The production of accurate documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all key service performance data is correct, complete, and reliable. Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy, ensuring charges are correct and align with agreed terms. Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
