The Housing Options Service delivers a wide variety of services to some of the most vulnerable residents of Blackpool. We are looking for someone to join us at Housing Options to help us deliver on our duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. As a Housing Options Trainee you will be supported to develop a working knowledge of the individual functions of the Housing Options department which provides a comprehensive frontline advice and assessment service, focused on early intervention and homeless prevention. We are therefore, looking for someone who is keen to develop their understanding/knowledge around housing and homelessness. You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to deal sensitively with customers. You will possess strong IT skills, be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team. Ideally you will also have a flexible and practical approach and be able to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
