Ref: 001579 The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Personal Care Assistant New Bridge Learning Centre, Fitton Hill, Oldham NJC Point 3 - £24,796 per annum (Full time full year) Actual Salary pro rata: £19,669 per annum 34 hours per week/ Term Time only + 5 days (195 days) Commencing as soon as possible Part of the wider New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (MAT), New Bridge School is a generic special needs school for pupils and students between the ages of 11 and 19 across three sites within Oldham. The main school operates across two sites; the 11-16 age range at our Roman Road campus in Hollinwood and the 16-19 age range at our Learning Centre site on St. Martin’s Road, Fitton Hill. The school has an Outstanding rated provision which caters for 380 pupils with a wide range of SEND, from moderate learning difficulties to profound and multiple learning difficulties, including severe and complex learning difficulties. The school also caters for pupils with physical disabilities, multisensory impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments and specific conditions including autism spectrum condition. All pupils have an EHC plan. The trustees would like to invite applications from caring and committed candidates to join our dedicated PCA team, based initially at the Learning Centre Site at Fitton Hill. This is an important role within school, providing support to our young people who require assistance in the bathroom with personal care. As well as being able to understand the need for care and dignity, candidates must be good team players, have an attention to detail and be flexible in working across multiple sites if required.
