Your Role

We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant who shows compassion, resilience and patience in their care for children with SEND. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, caring people who are passionate about the inclusion of children with special educational needs and ambitious for their achievement every day.

The role would involve supporting all children including pupils with EHCPs and SEND support plans. You may be expected to support pupils across year groups and will work under the guidance of teaching staff, the SENDCO and outside agencies in order to implement agreed work programmes.

About You

Team work at Didsbury Road is paramount to give our children the best possible outcomes.

We expect excellent classroom practice, the ability to inspire and motivate children, a calm and flexible approach to working in a primary school, imagination and initiative and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position is open to candidates with appropriate training and relevant experience in a primary school setting. Ideally with experience of working with children with special educational needs.
