Senior Project Manager (Children and Young People) x 2 Salary: £56,293 - £61,064 Hours: Full-time role (36.25 hours over a five-day period, flexible arrangements available) Job type: Fixed-term (12 months) (secondments from partner organisations would be considered). We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Greater Manchester Combined Authority's Public Service Reform Directorate, The role will play a pivotal role in designing, commissioning, delivering and learning from our aligned programmes of work focused on early intervention and prevention. Working across health, local government and the voluntary sector, you the role will help shape how services collaborate at neighbourhood level to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. Across Greater Manchester, partners are working together to redesign how support is organised around children and families. We are bringing together NHS organisations, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations and wider public services to create more joined-up, preventative and person-centred support delivered closer to home. This work forms part of Greater Manchester's wider neighbourhood model and Live Well approach, helping ensure children, young people and families can access the right support at the right time, while reducing inequalities and improving outcomes. As Senior Project Manager, you will provide play a pivotal role in delivering Greater Manchester's programme of neighbourhood reform for children and young people with a focus on the development of integrated models for multidisciplinary neighborhood teams and family support. The role will coordinate project planning and delivery to align major transformation programmes, including Best Start in Life and Family Hubs, multidisciplinary neighbourhood health teams, and Families First, helping partners to develop a coherent approach to neighbourhood delivery across the city-region. Working with senior leaders from NHS organisations, local authorities, GMCA and voluntary sector partners, you will help shape policy, influence system-wide decision making and ensure reform programmes are aligned behind a common vision for improving outcomes for children and families. You will help shape the future direction of Greater Manchester's neighbourhood model for children and young people, influencing how health, local government and community partners work together to deliver earlier intervention, reduce inequalities and improve outcomes for families across the city-region. Key areas of responsibility will include: Leading project management across high profile workstreams and partnership projects, leading end to delivery and ensuring agreed milestones are achieved Identifying opportunities to align health, local authority and community-led reform programmes Oversee programme reporting and assurance, including risk and issue management. Use data, insight and learning to inform programme design, improvement and system change. Support collaborative working and shared ownership across partners, embedding coproduction where appropriate. Prepare highquality briefings, reports and updates for senior leaders, boards and elected member ;; You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop shared priorities, governance arrangements and delivery frameworks, while identifying risks, resolving barriers and ensuring that activity across the system contributes to a coherent neighbourhood model. The work you do will influence how services are designed and delivered across Greater Manchester for years to come.
