About The Role

As our Support for Learning Lead, you will:

  • Lead and support behaviour, inclusion, emotional regulation and pupil wellbeing across the school.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families and staff.
  • Support staff to manage behaviour effectively through a relational and therapeutic approach.
  • Monitor and analyse behaviour data to identify trends and inform interventions.
  • Lead on IRIS and QA reporting, ensuring accurate record keeping and effective follow up.
  • Work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to improve outcomes for pupils.
  • Champion the Trust's Relational Inclusion approach, including Conflict Resolution and Emotion Coaching.
  • Contribute to safeguarding, pastoral support and the continuous improvement of school practice.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children and young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional needs.
  • Is passionate about inclusion, wellbeing and helping pupils succeed.
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support strategies.
  • Is confident analysing information and using data to drive improvements.
  • Can remain calm, resilient and professional in challenging situations.
  • Has excellent communication skills and sound professional judgement.
  • Shares our commitment to positive relationships, high expectations and excellent outcomes for all pupils.
