A second subject within the Social Sciences (e.g. Psychology, Sociology or Criminology) would be desirable. We are seeking a passionate practitioner with strong subject knowledge who can deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that supports students of mixed abilities to achieve excellent progress. The successful candidate will bring Health and Social Care to life through real-world application, developing students’ understanding of contemporary issues, synoptic skills and employability within the sector. A commitment to high-quality pastoral support is essential. Health and Social Care sits within the Social Studies Department, alongside Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, English Language, English Literature, Film Studies, Media Studies and Sport.
